Note: Ruth Weir-Breslin, Fox was a member of the Battle Creek Tabernacle SDA Church since 1916. She was 28 when the Dime tabernacle burnt to the ground. She graduated from the old Battle Creek Sanitarium School of Nursing in 1917 where she also nursed. Later she worked at Community and Leila hospitals. Also school nurse for what is now Harper Cteek Schools. She retired at the age of 77. Her daughter states that her yard had to be manicured. Ruth lived with Jean and Les Newkirk for about 20 years and was in good health until a year and a half before her death. Memorial Services were on December 2, 1995 at the Battle Creek Seventh-day Adventist Tabernacle.
Burial note: Interment of remains beside her husband.
